A mess of rooves

As I mentioned in yesterday's post, it can be hard finding new ways to look at a city you've been living in for the best part of 12 years - especially one on the tiddly-side, size-wise. So with that in mind, I went for a stroll up to the top of the Patterson Street car-park to see what I could see. Launceston's a low-rise city, so even going 3-4 floors up can change the flavour of the place quite a bit...

  1. Lots to look at here Smudgeon, many shapes and shades of grey! As to your last post, I take my hat off to you, I loooove B&W and sometimes wish I was brave enough to make a commitment, but then I look at the blue sky and just can't do it!

  2. Indeed, it's always good to scout out vantage points to see places in a different light, and here you have done so. It's often amazing at the formality of the streets below juxtaposed with the random chaos at plat at roof level.
